Cathy D. Handford
Founder and CEO of Cyber Business Development Associates (Cyber BDA, Inc.).
Cathy has over 35 years of experience working in national security, defense and intelligence. She brings industry knowledge gained providing expert analysis and insight into market strategy, business development processes, capture strategy and proposals for companies operating in the aerospace, defense and intelligence sectors. She has been developing market strategies in the cybersecurity market since 2009.
Cathy has been consulting since 2013 providing R&D, investment, and new business capture strategies in the cybersecurity, biometrics, Intelligence and DoD communities for tier 1 aerospace & defense companies. Previously, Cathy was Sector Director of Cyber Initiatives at Northrop Grumman Corporation where she led whitespace technology initiatives and the development of the company’s domestic and international cybersecurity market strategies.
Cathy is currently a Senior Advisor to the Chertoff Group, working for the Merchant Banking and Federal Strategy practices. Cathy is a Brookings Institution Congressional Fellow and a Six Sigma Black Belt. She has a degree in Mathematics from Randolph-Macon College with honors, and significant graduate studies in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University.

V. Patrick Adrounie
Pat has over 40 years in the defense arena, currently specializing in bringing innovative technologies and solutions into the federal government space. He in specializes in obtaining non-dilutive R&D funding for clients and facilitated over $12M in federal funding during the last several years for one client. He identifies and shapes customer requirements, develops and presents briefings, and prepares whitepapers and proposals. Clients have included SecureLogix, Parker Hannifin, The Cleveland Clinic, XRD-i Power, Secure City Solutions, and the UK Ministry of Defense.
Previously, Pat was an executive at Lockheed Martin (LM), responsible for fostering innovation across the corporation. Pat’s other positions at LM include Director Counterinsurgency Programs for LM corporate headquarters, Director of Intelligence Analysis for Special Programs, and Chief Systems Architect for LM Space Company. Pat also worked as Group Manager for the ISR Center of Excellence at Boeing Phantom Works, and Deputy Business Area Manager at General Dynamics Advanced Tactical Systems. He is a former naval officer, certified Federal Enterprise Architect, and PMP.
